Logitech Unveils AI-Powered Cameras to Replace Bulky Boardroom Systems

Logitech is taking aim at bulky and complex boardroom conferencing systems with a new generation of AI-powered cameras designed to simplify hybrid meetings while improving video quality and user experience.

The company has introduced its latest Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro, positioning them as sleek, low-profile alternatives to traditional conference room setups that often require extensive hardware and complicated installations.

Unlike legacy systems that rely on multiple components and cables, the new cameras are built to deliver a more streamlined experience, using artificial intelligence to automate many aspects of video conferencing. Features such as automatic speaker tracking, intelligent framing, and multi-camera coordination allow meetings to feel more natural and engaging, particularly in larger or more complex spaces.

The AI-driven technology, powered by Logitech’s RightSight 2 system, can dynamically adjust camera angles to focus on active speakers or groups, helping remote participants stay engaged without manual intervention.

Logitech is also emphasizing ease of deployment for IT teams. The cameras can be set up using simple USB or single-cable connections and managed remotely through centralized software, reducing the need for on-site technical support.

In addition to video capabilities, the devices can collect room usage data, enabling organizations to better manage office space and eliminate inefficiencies such as unused or “ghost” meetings.

The higher-end Pro model includes a dual-camera system with up to 15x hybrid zoom, designed to capture presenters and details clearly in large meeting environments, while both models feature wide-angle lenses and enhanced low-light performance.

Logitech’s move reflects a broader shift in workplace technology as companies continue adapting to hybrid work models. By combining AI automation with a more discreet design, the company aims to make conferencing tools less intrusive while delivering a more immersive meeting experience.

The new cameras are expected to be available in 2026
